In this parish we believe that each child and young person in our communities is created in God's image to have life in its fullness.
We believe in the personal dignity and rights of every child and vulnerable adult and take seriously our responsibility to protect their well-being.
We will do all in our power to ensure that our parish prrovides a safe and caring environment for children, young people and those who are vulnerable and to prevent any kind of abuse.
We will liaise closely with statutory agencies to ensure any allegations that may occur are promptly and properly dealt with, that victims are supported and perpetrators held to account.
All those in this parish who are involved in ministering to, or working with children or vulnerable adults are committed to establishing high standards and practices in accordance with the Diocesan Safguarding procedures.
