The Gospel has been used far less than any of the other Gospels. Possible reasons for this are its brevity, and its style which makes it seem simpler and less dramatic and colourful, therefore, it would seem, less suited to the needs of public worship. But Mark's Gospel is not as simple as it first appears, its structure is far from random and, above all, its message is one of profound, urgent and joyful good news for us all. Please join us on Monday evenings at 7.00pm, at St Joseph's from 12th January to 16th February to explore the Gospel of Mark. Each session will last about an hour and will finish with the Office of Compline.
